Wondering What A $14,000 Smartphone Comes With?

June 1, 2016
An Israeli startup, Sirin Labs, has introduced their first smartphone, and it costs $14,000. I assumed it must be plated in gold.

For the most part the phone is a high end Anroid device, similar to a Samsung Galaxy S7. So why does this cost $13,300 more? Because it has a switch on the back that makes it super secure.

Flip the switch and it becomes highly encrypted. It will also only send text messages and make phone calls in this mode. It's targeted at people that feel they have secrets. They probably also have private jets if they will pay $14,000 for a phone.
