'The Rock' Might Run For Office - Would You Vote For Him?

It's not unheard of for actors to become politicians. President Ronald Reagan was an actor, and of course Arnold Schwarzenegger became governor of California.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson recently told British GQ

I'll be honest, I haven't ruled politics out. I'm not being coy when I say that, but at the moment I am not sure. I can't deny that the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring. And beyond that, it would be an opportunity to make a real impact on people's lives on a global scale. But there are a lot of other things I want to do first.

He does appear pretty intelligent, and he's a heck of a likeable guy, so I could see him being successful. He wouldn't be the first professional wrestler to do well in politics. Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura rose to fame as a wrestler.
