Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy Members Are "Not A Supergroup"

June 1, 2016

The newly formed "Prophets of Rage" held their first performance last night in Hollywood. The band is made up of members of Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy, and Cypress Hill. They perform songs from all three artists' catalogues. But don't call them a "supergroup."

Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine told Rolling Stone, "We're not a supergroup. We're an elite task force of revolutionary musicians determined to confront this mountain of election year [expletive], and confront it head-on with Marshall stacks blazing."

Got it, not a supergroup. Just an ordinary group with an agenda.
